Unpaid Work Beneficiary Criteria

How can our organisation benefit from work done by those subject to a Community Orders with an Unpaid Work Requirement?

If you are interested in benefiting and becoming an Unpaid Work beneficiary, can you meet the following criteria?

Unpaid Work projects should:

  • Benefit the community.
  • Improve the environment.
  • Address conservation issues.
  • Support the victims of crime.
  • Assist in the re-integration of offenders.
  • Assist in crime prevention.
  • Not remove paid employment from others.
  • Be self-funding (wherever possible).
  • Support special interest groups and minority ethnic groups.
  • Where applicable, contributions would be asked for (e.g. fuel costs).
  • Assist offenders to develop skills and qualifications to increase their employment potential and promote law-abiding lifestyles.
